Price alerts occur when the current trading price exceeds either the high or low level thresholds as set in the portfolio page. As such they come in two varieties, High Alert and Low Alert messages. In addition to last price and change alerts may include volume, daily high/low, current bid/ask, shares and gain information as selected on the preferences page. |

Volume alerts occur when the trading volume for the day exceeds the 10 day average volume by a percentage set in the preferences page. Volume alerts can be triggered on a 10 day trailing average or with an intraday volume surge. In addition to last price and change alerts may include volume, daily high/low, current bid/ask, shares and gain information as selected on the preferences page. |

Updates and End of Day Messages Updates are generated once per day at the time set in the preferences page or optionally for full members every hour on the hour during the trading day. End of Day messages are generated after the US markets are closed. The formatting for these messages differs for Email/Fax and Pagers. To avoid receiving the lengthy Email formatted message on Pagers it is important that pager information be provided in the correct field in the subscription form. Pager messages may include full detail or just the valuation as set in the preferences page. |
