StockBoss Interactive (works on all RIM devices)
Based upon the RIM Wireless Handhelds™, StockBoss Interactive Application provides sophisticated navigation of financial data, transmits custom price and volume alert notifications, plus allows for on-demand requests for new financial information.

* Install using Over-the-Air Download *

Open the RIM Browser. Select the 'Go To..' menu selection and enter:

in the URL field. Click on OK. Select the Install Application link. You will be prompted to accept the download. Click on the Download button. It may take 1-2 minutes for the entire program to be loaded. A dialog box will be shown that will either confirm the successful installation or alert you to a problem.

If successful, exit the Browser and find the StockBoss application icon on the RIM device list of programs. Simply select the StockBoss icon. The very first time, the application will also ask you to enter your name, company, phone and email address. To view the User's Guide click here.

If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer and have permission for Active X controls you may install StockBoss directly from your web browser.

* Install using BlackBerry Desktop Manager *

To download the current release of StockBoss Interactive Application click here (Ver 2.103). The file contains a self extracting executable program that will install all the necessary files to your local hard drive. The full User's Guide is included in the distribution.

After downloading the application, run the executable file to install the files. Follow the instructions on each screen of the install program. Once done, you will see a new icon for StockBoss. Simply select the StockBoss icon. The very first time, the application will also ask you to enter your name, company, phone and email address.

Desktop Manager System Requirements

You should have the latest BlackBerry Desktop Manager software (version 4.0 or higher) installed on your PC. (Note: BlackBerry 8700 requires Desktop Manager Version 4.1 or higher)

To find your current version of BlackBerry Desktop Software:
1. Open Desktop Manager
2. Click on Help from the menu
3. Select About Desktop Manager

If your version is below 4.0 then:

1. Go to the Download Section of the BlackBerry Website (http://www.blackberry.net/products/software/desktop/index.shtml)
2. Then click on Download BlackBerry Desktop Software and service packs.
3. Select "BlackBerry Desktop Software v4.2" from the drop down list and click on Select.
4. Click on the "Download Software" link, complete the presented form, and run the downloaded file.
