Definition of a Professional:
The NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ exchanges define a Professional subscriber as an individual person acting in his/her personal capacity and is:
1) registered or qualified with the SEC, CFTC, any state securities agency, securities exchange or association, or any commodities or futures contract market or association;
2) engaged as an "investment advisor" as defined in Section 202(a)(11) of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940;
3) employed by a bank or other organization exempt from registration under Federal and/or state securities laws to perform functions that would require registration or qualification if such functions were performed for an organization not so exempt
A Professional subscriber meets one or more of the above conditions.
If you do not meet any of the above conditions, you are considered a Non-Professional
Professional Real-Time Pricing
Professionals can register for StockBoss Real Time Price Alerts at the same rate as Non-Professional subscribers. To register for the Real-Time Alerts Only service, please check this box on our Subscription page. The Real-Time User's Agreement will then be displayed. Please fill in all of the required boxes and fields.
Real Time Internet and Interactive request service for Professional subscribers from StockBoss is $75 per month for NASDAQ and AMEX access. In addition the NYSE will charge a fee directly to the subscriber. This fee is determined by the number of display units already in use and the number of quotes requested. Futhermore, StockBoss can only begin Real Time service after the professional status of the subscriber is verified by the NYSE.
Non-Professional Real-Time Pricing
Non-Professionals can register for StockBoss Real Time Price Alerts or for Real-Time Unlimited service at any time during your subsription to StockBoss. Real Time Internet and Interactive request service for Non-Professional subscribers is $15 per month. To register for the Real-Time Alerts Only service, or for Real-Time Unlimited service, please check either box on our Subscription page. The Real-Time User's Agreement will then be displayed. Please fill in all of the required boxes and fields.
